NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST CLEAR LOTION REVIEW

Hey Everyone, Today’s review of mine is all about NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST CLEAR LOTION HYDRATING TONER. People with acne prone damaged skin can go for this product but not those with sensitive ones. It soothes and hydrates your skin leaving it  fresh for all day long, Specially during summers it makes your skin feel light and refreshed.

It is suitable and efficient for those ones with acne prone dry and rough skin .it has a super light texture which makes your skin feel very mild and gentle weather in winters or summers as it varies in any changes.

For my skin it did not worked a lot ,as my skin type is combination skin, from the T zone that is forehead, chin and nose its oily, It is suitable for my skin types but it didn’t worked for me instead I suffered from the breakouts. So it is suitable for only dry skin ones.

PRICING: Now for pricing its a bit higher than the work it does, it comes in 150mL of the transparent bottle which costs 890 bucks which is not that affordable for everyone, one have to think before to invest in this bottle.

ABOUT NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST CLEAR LOTION HYDRATING TONER: So, I came across this product few months ago and I thought of using it because I suffered a lot from breakouts, after trying it for about an month it didn’t matched my skin and I suffered breakouts. 

Neutrogena is an American brand of skincare and hair care, but about the toner it is super light weight and goes deep inside the skin and makes it feel fresh and hydrated. It is mainly enriched With water, glycerin and Hyaluronic acid (other active compounds) which helps lock moisture deep inside the face.

PACKAGING: This toner comes in the pale blue transparent bottle with round top cap. It comes in 150mL of packaging, The shape of Bottle is alike long cylindrical.

INGREDIENTS:

WATER: Helps prevents excess oil from the skin and keeps it oil free, it also prevents skin issues like black and white heads.

GLYCERIN: It effects mainly the dry skin as it works to lock moisture deep inside the skin, smoothens the texture of the damaged and dry skin.

GLYCERETH-26: It mainly focuses on the damaged, rough and bumpy skin by refining bumpy textures and wrinkles. Regular use of this can help a lot for those one’s with rough and bumpy skin.

SODIUM BENZOATE: It prevents bacteria and fungal infection from products. It also prevents itching and irritation causing bacteria from the skin.

PANTHENOL: It helps red pus filled bumps, red itchy skin and makes it smooth. 

POLYSORBATE 20: These are oily liquid derived from ethoxylated sorbitan, it rinses off extra peel from the skin and makes smooth texture by exfoliating the skin, also removes extra skin cells from the skin.

CITRIC ACID: It exfoliates the dead cells from the skin, helps in unclog pores. Also it acts as protective antioxident and helps as anti ageing properties. It removes the upper layer of dead skin by scrubbing and cleanses pores deeply making skin smooth and soft. It also maintains the pH level of the skin.

FRAGRANCE: It imparts the odour of chemicals used in the toner.

SODIUM HYALURONATE: It acts as medicine for the skin, repairs wounds, burns and irritation. It also relieves pain, cures wounds and acts as medicine.

OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) LEAF EXTRACT: It prevents inflammations infections also cures diseases. Prevents wound or infections.

MAGNESIUM ASPARTATE: Heavy usage of chemicals can damage our skin, this compound helps regains protein and mineral in the skin.

ZINC GLUCONATE: It consists of an antibacterial properties which helps prevent acne pimple properties. It is great for acne prone damaged skin.

COPPER GLUCONATE: It helps regain the elasticity of the skin, it wounds healing and helps skin regenerating its surface.

COLOUR AND CONSISTENCY:

NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST CLEAR LOTION HYDRATING TONER is transparent in colour same as water and its consistency is super light. It is same in the form of water but the fragrance is a bit exotic and alcoholic I personally didn’t liked the smell a lot because its too hard for sensitive skin ones.

Its fragrance is not at all for the sensitive skin ones, it can cause slight burn also its a bit hard because of chemicals and acids present in it, Although it suits very well for the rough dry skin type you can go for it.

MY OVERALL OPINION:

So, personally it didn’t matched my skin type a lot as my skin type is combination one, but of my further researches it is super good for dry flakey and rough skin you can go for this.

After using this product for about 2-3 months I suffered breakouts which I will never recommend this for oily or combination skin ones. But if you want to give it a try you can go this for sure.

For me its pricing is a bit higher than the job it does. It completely absorbs into the dry skin by locking moisture into it and making it feel more fresh and hydrated. It soothes the dryness from the skin, leaving it hydrated. I can rate it 3/5 because as I mentioned earlier it do not suit for those one with combination or oily skin. This is good toner for dry skin.
