Hey Everyone, Today’s review of mine is all about ORIFLAME SWEDEN TENDER CARE ROSE PROTECTING LIP BALM, So I came this product three years ago and since then I have been using this whenever I feel chapped or dry lips anywhere. This lip protecting lip balm exfoliates your dry skin out and protects your lip skin cells, prevents painful chapped dry lips, when mixed with lipstick can also be used as a lip gloss, use it in the morning and after going to bed so that it can keep your newly produced cells on the loos protected and hydrated.
It comes in a pink round egg structure plastic container, It has light yellowish creamy soft texture, which goes deeply inside your skin and protects it from drying out, when used overnight daily will protect your lip cells, keeps it moisturized and hydrated. Loss of moisture in your lips can cause roughness, skin cells will peel off, also will lead to discolouration on your lips. But this oriflame lip balm heels your lip skin gently from deep inside, protects lip skin because skin of your lips is thinner than your cheek or any part of your skin on your body. It is very light and gentle of sensitive skin, plump up by moisturizing your lips and protect the thin skin layer of your lips in any season.
I have been using this lip balm since three years now, in the morning and before going to bed, because of it’s tiny and handy packaging it is travel friendly, I carry it everywhere in my pouch and whenever my skin feels dehydrated or rough I love to apply one stroke of this product which protects my skin from outside humidity, drying out, damaging the cells and many more.

All of these comes in a 15g of tiny pot but costs between 300-400 bucks. For me pricing is a bit on the expensive side, but trust me it is very worthy, it completely protects your lips making it soft and supple also can be used for more than three months.

PETROLATUM: It is often used in any product, derived from petroleum, It acts in any products as a good moisturizing agent, when applied it melts and penetrates easily into the skin by softening the skin. It is colourless and odourless, it do not cause any harm to the skin if refined properly.
CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGYCERIDE: It works as antioxidant for skin makes skin soft and smooth, It helps binding all the ingredients together also helps ingredients and preservatives last longer in products. It cause no harm to the skin as it is considered natural than other chemical products.
PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM: It acts as mineral oil used in many products, it’s an petroleum based product, It acts as emollient and moisturizer for the skin.
CERA ALBA: It is a natural non toxic product which causes no harm to your skin, it is a purified wax comes from bee. It heels dry skin, by softening your skin, Also it helps reduce stretch marks on your body, It creates a layer on your skin which helps to lock moisture and keeps it hydrated.
PARAFFIN: This wax is natural emollient, helps make skin supple and soft, It boost up moisture level of your skin, exfoliates and removes dead skin cells from your skin, helps in open pores.
ACETYLATED LANOLIN: It is a multi acid which rinses off exfoliant peel, which resurfaces dry rough, or bumpy texture of your skin to smooth and soft. Adds shine to the skin by reducing wrinkles and dark spots.

PARFUM: It has a chemically manufactured scent that adds fragrance in the product, which helps keeping odour away, it also includes toxic elements which if used in high amount can harm your skin.
TOCOPHERYL ACETATE: It is used in variety of skincare products, it is high in Vitamin-E, which prevents damage to the skin from the Direct UV rays of the sun, It also has anti-inflammatory effect of the skin. It increases nutrient level in your skin by reducing stretch marks.
GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE: It is a natural plant based emulsifier which does not cause any harm to the skin, it is derived from coconut and vegetable oil. COLOUR AND CONSISTENCY:
Oriflame sweden tender care rose protecting lip balm is white-yellowish creamy in texture, it has a bit gloss and shine which adds shine to the skin, consistency of it is very light a bit gel like formula which absorbs easily into the skin. It is suitable for all skin type specially the dry cracked lips.
FRAGRANCE: It has a very good mild soothing rose fragrance, pleasant fragrance, Start and end up your day with it’s fragrance fragrance, the only issue with this is the fragrance isn’t long lasting, but it keeps your lips moisturized all day long.
MY OVERALL OPINION: I can rate 4/5 for this product, it has helped me a lot with dry chapped and cracked lips. I used to suffer a lot with dry lips, sometimes even it bleeds during winter, But from the past three years I never felt that I ever suffered from dry lips, it soothes and heels the driest lip ever, also lighten dark spots. I’m a more to a fragrant person, I love products with long lasting fragrance, this product do have fragrance but doesn’t lasts for longer period of time. But it is the best lip care balm for dry skin, will keep your skin hydrated and soften it deeply.
